Hickory Christian defeats United Faith Christian Academy of Charlotte

Hickory Christian Academy opened conference play Thursday night with a win over United Faith lead by Maddie Speagle's 2 goals and 2 assists followed by Mattie Clark's 2 goals. Cassie Burel and Kirsten Burton had a goal and assist each.  Savannah Caudle scored a goal and Madi del Charco and Allee Cerrito each had an assist. Bailey Cannon was in goal for the shutout. 

HCA scored 3 goals in the first 30 minutes and opened the second half with 2 goals in 7 minutes to put the game away. Two late goals closed out the scoring for the Knights. 

The win gives HCA a 2-0 start to the season, while United Faith falls to 0-3. 

Hickory Christian continues Southern Piedmont Athletic Association (SPAA) conference play this Tuesday March 19th when they travel to Statesville to face undefeated Statesville Christian.

   Maddie Speagle 2 goals   2 assists

   Kirsten Burton  1 goal.  1 assist 

   Cassie Burel 1 goal.  1 assist

   Mattie Clark.  2 goals

   Savannah Caudle 1 goal

   Madi del Charco  1 assist

   Allee Cerrito. 1 assist
